Do you accept my insurance?

Strait Occupational & Hand Therapy, P.S. will accept most insurance plans.

It is up the the patient to check with their provider to confirm coverage.

What is the difference between Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy?

That's a great question! Many of our patients are confused by this terminology. At a simple level, it is a licensing and regulatory issue.  We here at Strait Occupational Therapy do many of the same things that Physical Therapists do.

But as Certified Hand Therapists, we specialize in hands, wrists, and elbows.  Some staff members have additional training and will also address shoulders and other cases on an individual basis.

Physical Therapy is primarily ordered after surgery, and can include the neck and spine, as well as improving motor function of the lower body. Here at Strait Occupational & Hand Therapy, we remain focused on what we do best.
